My TT fuel pump (NA FPC & NA modded ECU) is sputtering on me.It was purchased from a member with low miles. Upon installation, the car will turn over but only after the 2nd crank after exhausting a full 1st cranking of 3-4 secs (cold start). Warm start, the car cranks over after a sec of cranking, sputters a little (very low idle for half a sec) then becomes normal. ZERO issues with starting beforehand (even on cold start, car would crank after half a sec, and full power no sloppy idle) Fuel pump voltage is at 7.5 at idle, WOT is battery. (For reference, it was discovered that the fuel pump exhibits load voltage at 4200-4300 RPM when acceleration is applied gently. Pedal to the floor from idle, WOT throttle is exhibited at 3000-3300 RPM. RPM taken from average of Blitz i-color EBC & stock tachometer.) Im going to try new fuel clamps immediately on the bulkhead assembly first, then move on from there (test fuel pressure up front, etc.). Any educated thoughts on how to proceed?
